About this event

Inspired by Black Mirror's San Junipero, HAVEN depicts an in-between state that exists somewhere between fantasy and reality: A safe space where we can finally feel free.

Living in a society fuelled by hustle culture, we tend to end up chasing highs to escape the lows, telling ourselves that's what it means to be alive... But everyone has to wake up from a dream at some point. We all have to face reality - and in the real world, things aren't always pretty.

This begs the question: "Will we choose to be present and embrace the deep pain and unfathomable bliss that life has to offer, or will we choose to continue living half-asleep?

All ticket-holders have access to the forum and after-party that will be happening in the space from 6 pm onwards on 9 July 2022. Light bites and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own alcohol. The exhibition space will remain open till 10 pm.
